The Pueblo of Zuni has requested 800 cloth masks. While my sewing operation has become much more efficient, that's more than a few weeks of mask-making for me alone.
Indigenous people are one of the most at-risk groups facing this pandemic. They are at the crossroads of limited federal assistance, limited water resources and health disparity. We can help them flatten the curve and the sooner we get masks out there, the greater chance we have to stop the spread of the virus among their population.
